EXPOSURE

IN ALL CASES CONSULT A DOCTOR!
  • INHALATION
    		• Cough. Sore throat.
    		Ventilation.
    		Fresh air, rest. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• Redness.
    		Protective gloves.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. First rinse with plenty of water, then remove contaminated clothes and rinse again. Refer for medical attention.
  • EYES
    		• Redness.
    		Safety goggles, or face shield.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION
    		• Abdominal pain. Diarrhoea. Drowsiness. Nausea. Vomiting.
    		Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
    		Rinse mouth. Give a slurry of activated charcoal in water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Collect leaking liquid in sealable containers. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place (extra personal protection: self-contained breathing apparatus).
    		Separated from strong oxidants, food and feedstuffs.
    		Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

     COLOURLESS LIQUID , WITH CHARACTERISTIC ODOUR.

     Reacts violently with strong oxidants and acids. Attacks many plastics. Can attack iron, aluminium upon heating. Slow oxidation in the presence of air.

     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation of its vapour, through the skin and by ingestion.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air will not or will only very slowly be reached on evaporation of this substance at 20░C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     The aerosol irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. The substance may cause effects on the nervous system.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
     Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis.
